NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti & GTX 1660 release confimed:-

In a formal meeting, NVIDIA has disclosed its upcoming new graphics card which is a GeForce GTX  family. The teaser which was not intended to be public, the presentation was more leak, it was possibly given to AIB partners, but someone secretly captured a photograph and was directed to ensure the existence of the upcoming family.

This NVIDIA meeting was given to AIB video card to prepare its marketing department for the upcoming lineup, which included a new based graphics card. The difference is that the existing graphics card is branded as GeForce RTX and new upcoming cards will be branded as GeForce GTX.

It indicates that the GeForce GTX family will not come with the same GPU architecture using the Ray Tracing Core. The first graphics cards of this family will be based on TU GPU(Turing-Graphics Processing Unit), which is featured on GeForce RTX 2060 and GeForce RTX 2070 graphics cards, TU 106GDP derivatives Turing TU 116 GPU is similar to the CUDA core configuration, but it may lack or disable Ray tracing cores that allow better tracing performance than non-RTX GPUs.

It is not known that Core Turing (RTX) will be based on the die layout similar to the GPU's die space, which is dedicated to the tensor and RT core. If the dye size is small due to the non-core of the RT core, then we can see slightly better prices than RTX counterparts. Of course, at the moment it is just speculation but some rumours point to this.

The word from Chinese sources is that the fastest of two TU116 variants, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, may be launched in February or March for approx. $350 USD, which is approximately Rs.25,000. The GeForce GTX 1660 will be available one month later in March and will fall to around Rs.18,000 to Rs.21,500 ($ 250- $ 300 USD).

GeForce GTX 1660 TIT 6GB GDRD 6 (12GBPs) Memory and 1536 CUDA Court has given more clock speed than RTX 2060. GeForce GTX 1660 can be found in both 6 GB and 3 GB models. It is called the GDR5 (8GBps) memory and the 1280 CUDA Core. The clock speed will still be higher than the RTX 2060. Both cards will look really interesting and offer competition from recently launched Radeon RX 590 from AMD.

Of course, we will wait to see the reviews that removal of RT Core and GTX branding was really a great idea, but if the price is right, then we will see that the card has become a big success in the budget.

CRITICISM:-

When Nvidia's RTX series' graphics card was the biggest criticism in the last quarter of 2018, there was no mid-option. RTX 2070 was the only basic option to upgrade the old 10-Series GPU of old RTX-series of Nvidia or AMD, which offers the easiest point of entry over pricing value of more than approx. Rs.36,000 ($500 USD). After the introduction of RTX 2060, Nvidia is now following three new "GTX" tuning GPUs, giving each weak performance, but low-priced tags are also coming. These cards are designed to compete well with AMD's current heavy duties, with the same performance as AMD 590, 580 and 570. The 1660 and 1650 Nvidia will replace its GTX 1060 (6 GB and 3GB) and 1050 graphics cards, providing minimal performance in each of the same values. For the last generation of Nvidia card, it can release its current value to clear the remaining stock. It can make a great choice to add cards to your non-gaming PC with the last few GTG 1060 and 1050 cards.
